Account Deletion Policy — Evershine Diagnostics
Overview
Evershine Diagnostics allows users to permanently delete their account and associated data. This policy explains what is deleted, what is retained, how to request deletion, verification steps, timeframes, and consequences.
What Will Be Deleted
- User profile (name, email, address, etc.)
- All test bookings associated with the account
- Stored test reports and attachments (subject to retention rules)
- Other personal data in the user profile (preferences, notes, etc.)
What We Will Retain (Minimal Audit Log)
We retain a minimal, immutable log for legal, audit, and fraud prevention purposes containing only:
- Name
- Phone number
- Test name (or test identifier)
- Date/time of test
This log is never used for marketing or sold/shared with third parties.
Third-Party Data & Partner Labs
Data shared with partner diagnostic laboratories, clinics as part of the test process may continue to be held by those third parties. Evershine Diagnostics is not responsible for data held by partner labs or other third parties. We will, where possible, request deletion from those third parties but cannot guarantee their compliance or timelines.
Backups & Cached Copies
Deletion requests are applied to live systems as soon as possible. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups or caches for a limited period and will be purged according to our backup retention schedule.
Exceptions & Legal Holds
We may not be able to delete certain data if required to retain it by law (for example, public health reporting, legal investigations, or tax/compliance obligations). In such cases we will inform the user and limit access to retained data.
How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion by any of the following:
- Using the “Delete Account” option in account settings (if available)
- Emailing a deletion request from the registered email to: [evershinediagnostics2025@gmail.com]
- Calling support at: [evershinediagnostics2025@gmail.com] and requesting deletion (identity verification required)
Send email to the support ID with the following format:
We will contact you within 24 hours to verify the request and begin the process. After confirmation, we will delete your data within 12 hours. Once deleted, data is permanently removed and not recoverable.
Identity Verification
To protect users and prevent fraudulent deletions, we verify the requester’s identity. Verification may require one or more of: confirmation via registered email/phone, a photo ID, or knowledge-based confirmation. We keep verification steps minimal and secure.
Timeframe
- We will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your deletion request.
- After you confirm the deletion request (following verification), we will delete your data within 12 hours.
- Backups and archived copies will be purged per backup retention schedules (up to 90 days).
Note: Deleted data is not recoverable.
Consequences of Deletion
- Loss of access to your account and stored reports.
- Cancellation of scheduled sample collections or pending orders.
- Deleted accounts cannot be restored; a new account will be required to use the service again.
Data Export Before Deletion
If you need copies of your data (reports, booking history), request a data export before deletion. We will provide an export (PDF/CSV) within 7 business days after verifying identity.
Appeals & Disputes
If you believe your data should not have been deleted or retained, contact support at [evershinediagnostics2025@gmail.com]. We will review and respond within 14 business days.
